Terms of sale and license

1. Who sells to you

PFCove is developed and provided by Nguyễn Minh Vượng, an individual based in Vietnam ("we" in these terms). Contact: [email protected].

Orders paid through Paddle (international cards and the other methods offered in Paddle's checkout): our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all orders paid through Paddle: it takes the payment, calculates and remits sales tax, sends the receipt and makes refunds. Paying for these orders is also governed by Paddle's buyer terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms).

Orders paid by Vietnamese bank transfer (VietQR, confirmed through SEPay): we sell to you directly.

Whichever way you pay, the license and the app are provided by us under these terms and the end-user license agreement (EULA).

2. License

Each purchase gives you one license key. The key is a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use PFCove on up to 3 Macs at the same time. Remove an old Mac on the Account page to activate another one.

You may not resell, share publicly or circumvent the license key or its activation limit.

3. Perpetual license, lifetime updates

The key never expires and has no recurring fee. It gets every PFCove update released from now on, new major versions (2.0, 3.0…) included, at no extra cost.

"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the PFCove product, that is for as long as we develop and release PFCove, not the lifetime of the buyer.

If PFCove development stops, licenses already bought stay valid and you can keep using the app: we keep the license server running, or, before shutting it down, release a final update that no longer needs the server to activate or refresh.

The app needs to reach the license server to activate and to refresh the license from time to time; see the EULA.

4. Trial

Each Mac can use the app free for 14 days. After the trial the app asks for a license key and its features are locked until one is entered.

5. Payment

Prices are shown before payment and are one-time prices. Payments through Paddle are processed by Paddle; bank transfers in Vietnam are confirmed through SEPay. We do not receive or store card numbers. See the payment and delivery policy.

6. Refunds and revocation

You get a full refund if you ask within 14 days of purchase, as set out in the refund policy. When an order is refunded in full, its key is revoked on every Mac.

A key is also revoked when its payment is reversed (chargeback), and restored if the dispute is decided in the seller's favour.

7. Warranty

The app is provided as is, to the extent permitted by law. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumer law gives you where you live.
